Hi. Now I'm confused - I've just seen this image of a Renegade on a private sale. Is it a standard Renegade in black, or an HG version that's escaped from the factory ahead of schedule (a prototype or pre-production run perhaps??), the seller says he's only had it for 4 weeks????

This image is from ebay isn't it? If not, the seller must have listed it elsewhere, but I recognise the photo as I bought that exact item. I can tell from the little chip on the front panel just above the Main 1 control. That exact Egnater now lives in my house

It definitely isn't the HG. I believe the HG range have HG next to the model name?

It's hard to believe the Renegade will have more gain though. When I dime the gain, it feels like my head is going to cave in. The gain is unreal on this amplifier. wonderfully chaotic.
