I found this on the Bogner site. This is the tube useage for an Ecstasy. Looking at this chart, does this mean that when switching from Blue channel to Red channel, there is no additional tube or gain stage that is engaged?? Does anyone know if the boost function utilizes a tube stage, or is it a non-tube boost??

Channel 1: V1, (V4 only used if effects loop is on), V5, V6

Channel 2: V1, V2, V3, (V4 only used if effects loop is on), V5

Channel 3: V1, V2, V3, (V4 only used if effects loop is on), V5

Channel 2 and 3 PLEXI MODE: V1, V3, (V4 only used if effects loop is on), V5

The reason I'm curious is to determine the phase direction, and if it switches when I engage the boost, or switch from Blue to Red. I always assumed it did, but now I'm not so sure.

Each preamp tube has two triodes. Most likely V3 is split and provides the tube gain for boost.

So would that be considered a gain stage. . .thus flipping the phase? I was under the impression it was with each additional preamp tube that it would change. Thanks for your help!
