Bogner Harlow issue

Anyone have experience with this pedal? I cannot seem to find a level that does not make my clean sound clip and make nasty sounds. I have set the pedal for "just barely on" and it still does it! Will proceeding or following a buffered pedal be a problem? My Radial Twin City ABY is buffered.

I have two: Mesa Boogie Mark IV and Bogner Uberschall Revision Blue. I first tried it in front of my ABY and ran into this issue. Then I moved to to only be in front of one amp or the other. It is still happening. I am going to try just Guitar->Harlow->Amp(s) tonight when I get a chance and see if maybe the buffer in the ABY is messing with the pedal.

Update: tried it straight in to the Uber and still had the same issues. Tried it back in the chain, after ABY and into Triple Rec and it sounds great. No nasty clipping. Did not try straight into Mark IV yet, will try tomorrow.
