Looks like they got pegs for the feet behind the front wheels. Way back my grandparents took us to the Circus that the shriners put on every year in Duluth MN. The motorcycle on the high wire and inside the ball-cage was the coolest part.

I'd need three tubes of Prep H if I sat on one of those for 5 minutes

been using fast fret since i started playing in the mid 90s. you don't always NEED lube, but rarely does it hurt to have a little extra for comfort. one tube of that stuff might actually last you 30 years if you keep it sealed... ok maybe 5.

I last had some in the early 2000's but the plastic case they switched to cracked near the lid and it dried out before I got much use out of it so I chucked it and didn't buy any more until this tube arrived today. The new case seems like a better design though I liked the old metal one best.

If you use it correctly ( use it AFTER you play and wipe it off fairly thoroughly) it will extend string life a good bit and keep your fretboard clean. I've been using it for years.

Although they are talking about another type of “hat” altogether.

I remember discovering Fast Fret in the 8th or 9th grade and I was amazed at how slippery it made things feel. I eventually started using it on my guitars too.

Used to use FastFret for many years. Also believe it or not, WD40.

After many years thinking it was a gimmick, tried Finger Ease. For playing in humidity and sticky strings, it works awesome.

I like fast fret, but has anyone else experienced it shortening their string life? As far as tone goes? I don’t gig so I’m sure you guys are swapping strings out more often than I am but I swear it was nuking my strings..

I have some Fast Fret but I have been using Music Nomad String Fuel for a while. I can't say I prefer one over the other. I do use coated strings though so it's only every so often.

I tried finger ease decades ago, it was ok. I seem to remember it making more gunk on the fretboard?

These days I change strings more often. I usually stock up on strings when MF has accessory sales; I buy enough to get the highest discount; I just use EHX 9s and 10s sets because they're cheap and I like them, and Ernie Ball Regular RPS sets for floating trems because I like them, and they seem to last longer and break less.

I have a few Gibson, Fender and other brands of guitar string sets that were on sale over the years, probably have a few dozen sets of guitars strings.
