Put some time into learning the software I need to run my new Laser ....

I was able to cut the exact shapes I needed right out 3/4 Birch Plywood including perfect finger joints .... so I built my own headshell .

Was also able to do my Emblem .... inlaying into the front panel .... plus the control faceplates .... all with the Laser .

Covered it in my favorite " Blackened Tuna " tolex

The Circuit is basically a single channel 800/ JEL ( the hot rodded 800 channel of the JEL ) .... I did change it up a little from the last one ... but not much .

She's got DC Heaters on the V1 and V2 .... DC elevated on the rest ... all Vishay resistors ... Sozo Caps

running 6550's with Hammond trannies and choke

Would love to hear clips...But in the interim I really dig the cosmetics...Simple...Black and Gray...Killer.
Thanks !! Clips is my next hurdle to tackle ..... unfortunately my brain is looking at it as a whole new hobby ...... and man .... after the Laser Software ... I ain't got much room left in the old File Cabinet upstairs if you know what I'm saying ...

I should just do some simple phone in the room clips though ....

Hell yeah. How different is this one from the one you built for me?
The Kali I built for you .... is basically a Jose .... this one is just a 800 but modded for more gain with out a additional tube gain stage .... with the front end tightened up and a fixed negative feedback .... your Kali is PCB .... and this one is turret board .... same Vishay and Sozo parts though

I Love my Kali !! These modded 800 circuits are a lot fun though .... fun putting all kinds of overdrives in front of them

I love this..... Also it's Made in America/USA!!!!

I'm happy with my amps now but if I was considering another amp this would be high on my list for sure.

Good stuff OP *_*
