I would do it. Used GC is AWESOME. Usually great prices and really cheap shipping. I get pedals from there all the time, done a couple of amps, a cab, and a couple of guitars, and considering another guitar right now. The last 2 things I bought from them were an NS2 (which I ended up returning because someone offered me a trade on one, saving me money. They even refunded my shipping!!) and a Carvin acoustic with HSC for 250 bucks. Such great deals. You can always call and ask about the condition, and the return policy is second to none, for the most part.

Ordered a used speaker cab from them listed as "Excellent Condition"
Their packing SUCKED,

But after escalating two layers of management I ended up paying less than $90 for the cab...

I bought a 4x12 from Atlanta and had it shipped to a Michigan GC.....
arrived in 3 days.....perfect. HELLUVA deal!

I had a heavy 212 combo shipped from the West coast to PA and had no issues. Amp was in a little less than described condition, but the price was right and the packaging was great.

Hmmmm. so here's an update.

Cornford Hellcat looks to be in amazing condition.
However the reverb doesn't work at all.
Also the volume cuts down after 20 mins or so. I changed all tubes with no success. It still happens.

When it works it sounds like a BEAST. It's pretty amazing amp. I might take it to tech and see if they can diagnose. I could just take it back for a refund but if a tech can fix it for 100 bucks or so I'd rather keep it as it was an amazing deal.
