I like the Mamba ..complete black snakeskin .plexi with black face plate and a green jewel light .

I like the black snake as it is textured but subtle..tolex

Gett rid of the gold panel and use the Cameron Black and I think it would be cool .,the Black Snake name alone is is cool but do you really want a Cameron BS100???

Big deal. I am also the CMO for a multi thousand dollar corporation. And the gardener, and the janitor, shipping and receiving, roof repair, gentle and cordial hobo removal specialist. Dang, I wear too many hats.

Pfft... I'm a Legend in my own Mind®. It doesn't get much better than that.

"A" all the way man...
Kinda reminds me of old 50's americana (in my mind) and then im sure the amp will be the total antithesis of that ;)

Check out some "coop" images in google for she-devil artwork ;)
Particularly like the nun/she-devil outlook.
If its called Old Bitch make it a nasty Bitch

Oh yeah, Barzini tried to parody this over at HCAF, and got his ass handed to him.
Lol... Those guys are brutal, gotta love it... :D

Don Barzini sleeps with the fishes.
Yea, he didn't get what he was hoping for did he? For not being a member here anymore he sure seems to know everything that's going on.

The smart thing to do is hire a real designer. And not some self-proclaimed "graphic designer" who does Myspace pages. Because there should be consistency in the brand's image. That includes consistent type. Picking a different font family for every product that competes with the typeface on the amp's controls and the company's logo is not a smart thing to do from a design standpoint. Good design looks the way it does for a reason. Not just because it "looks good." And good type is rarely a stock font family that's been pulled from freefonts.com and slapped onto a product or package. You need to know how adjust kerning and all that jazz. Otherwise it just looks cheap.

I'd recommend picking up a copy of Communication Arts Magazine, Archive Magazine, and CMYK. Or visiting the following websites for inspiration:

Abduzeedo - illustration, typography, photography, etc.
The Die Line - package design, typography
Ads of the World - advertising, art direction, etc.
