Wow man, you put A LOT of work into that thing! Paid off too, your leads on it sound massive! 
It has some effect on the total amount of gain, but truthfully, I haven't looked at the circuit at all, so I don't know exactly what it is varying. That is why I jokingly have "???" for the control description on the faceplate.maiden_fan":ssk710rb said:

Just got it in a trade with our own Adam of Angels here. Some of the features are very untraditional for a Charvel, but this is one of the best playing Charvels I've tried (neck is incredible) and it sounds really nice too. The deeper cutaway and angled neck pocket make upper fret access a breeze. The way they did the body with the scraped binding and dark wood under the maple top looks beautiful... Very satisfied with the trade as this one is a keeper...
