A distant friend tried out my Cameron Jose yesterday. He is an avid fan of the Bogner XTC and has owns at least 2 or 3 of them for at least the 5 years I have known him. Well yesterday he heard my Jose and his jaw hit the ground. He couldnt believe that 50 watts could sound so big and have so much cut and most of all gain. The look on his face was priceless when he started playing.  I am expecting him to be selling his XTC's  .

;)

I know you've already seen this, but just to add to the visualization of the 1st time experience/awareness factor.

This guy freaked out, to the point of incoherent disbelief. Sometimes I feel guilty doing this to guys who I know are searching for that sound-- but -- sometimes you just gotta do it, so they stop fooling themselves into believing that the de-caffeinated are just as good as the real thing- so to speak.

Man I have to work on my rack so more....................

what are you doing with it? I like to think I am done, but I will likely update the Power conditioner, replace the MXR eq for a Zen Drive or something similar --sigh-- Then there are the other amps I'd like and then the other guitars. lol

More of a fine tuning thing, get it sounding as good as it should.

Where is your 1210? In front of the amp or after the pre section?

It is funny watching guys play a Cameron or Fortin mod marshall for the first time, it is one thing to hear clips but in person it is totally different.

lolzgreg's face was priceless after he played the Cali :D

I'm glad someone remembered this. I Just played power chords and stood there like I won the lottery or something drooling.

The 1210 is after each head's preamp and power amp section, in parallel w/ I/O 1&2 of the H8000, and a Foot switchable Dry signal, in Mix 1. Mix 1 feeds Mix 2 and in mix 2 is the 2290 and PCM80. I/O 3&4 of the H8000 is after everything, then it goes to the outs to feed the power amp for the wet side of the rig.

This might make it easier to visualize:

Thanks. That was just through a mono video camera mic, and through some pretty lame Fender 4x12 cabs... but the rig does make sounds, that make me smile.

Hell w/ all the paper from all the manuals too, I could make a fleet of aircraft carriers and the planes to go on them too. ;)
