Boasting a formidable 100W power rating, and a new-design, low-weight ceramic magnet structure, the Raven is engineered with the modern metal player in mind: ready to handle crushing high-gain lead lines and seismic low-end riff-work. Beyond the raw power lies a truly premium tone, delivering a detailed mid-range punch, brooding highs, and a firm, authoritative low end.

The Raven is defined by its ability to deliver the heaviest of modern metal tones, while remaining light as a feather. At the heart of this innovation is a reimagined ceramic magnet assembly. This new-design motor structure massively lowers the speaker’s overall weight—to just 2.5 kg (5.5 lb)—without compromising the huge magnetic forces required to power such a gargantuan tone machine.

They announced a 55Hz G12M blackback as well - now that could be cool if they get the voicing right.

Heritage G12M 55Hz

Yeah, me, too. That's the one that I've always wanted to try but couldn't find and, if I did, they were beat up, blown, or reconed. If they get the voicing right, these have potential.

I've had both the G30H 75Hz and 55Hz variants. For me, the larger 50oz magnet was just too strong, made the high-mids too piercing. I did like what the bass cone does to the low end, but it made the piercing high-mids even worse, to me. For that kind tone, I just prefer the smaller 35oz magnet. While the G12M might not be my favorite speaker, it's definitely one of my favorite speakers. Now, finally, I'll get to try the 55Hz version.

I would love to see Celestion bring back the Heritage series in its entirety, all UK made, with the G12M and G12H in both 55Hz and 75Hz -AND- in both Greenback and Blackback variants. I have tried several other companies versions, but just think it would be cool if Celestion would do that.
