Seems like mixing 65s and V30s is the ticket, at least for the tone I'm after. The Vs bring the cut and clarity and the 65s round it out with warmth and a chewy feel/sound. I love ampaddict's clips where he uses this combination. Sounds killer with the CCV and Herbert!
Never tried it so I can't say for sure, but in theory it seems that a 75/65 mix would be a little mushy and clash with each other.
