Much better than Eminence, LOL.
I love V30's in almost any shape or form. Mesa, Chinese, Marshall, all sound good to me under different applications. My favorite recording cab is a Mesa Rectifier oversized, but in the room, I love a Marshall 1960AV or 1960AX. Those record well too.
Which leads me to my second favorite, the Classic series Greenback. I've also tried and liked the EVH/Heritage, but the Classic series just has a certain high mid aggressiveness that I prefer.
The Creamback M is also nice. The Creamback H I could give or take. On some amps it works well. On others, it can be too sizzly and thin.
The ones that I tend not to like are the ones with the large dustcap like the T-75 or the Classic Lead, but they can be made to work. They're just not my first choice.
I've also got a Gold in my Krank 1x12 that sounds really nice for being in such a small cabinet.
