Ted if it were me, I'd do something like..

- Main amp to the current cab.
- Slave out to one of your Mesa power amps, having it run the new more ass kicking cab.
- Adjust volume to taste.

Having a power amp running the second cab where you can balance volumes is the way, and negates most other blending issues.
 
Redback…they are very scooped on their own. I use a Redback with a V30 to get lows and highs since the v30 has neither.

Interesting. Have never used a slaved set up, but in the room that makes a lot of sense. Love your main cabs tone but wish it had just a bit more of something. Use the power amp volume to give it just that through a second cab. Good suggestion to the OP in my opinion!
 
I'd go g12t75's cause they are scooped and have good bass response. V30's would dominate because of the upper mids they have.
Yeah this, they have less output at 97dB so should blend well in terms of levels and mids.
