Charvel Wildcard #8

I like the black headstock. I'm OK with rosewood but I agree with the popular consensus that maple just looks/feels right for these guitars. The flames are cool. I like dark/black guitars but I'd prefer some color in the flames.

I could live with the EMG. I have EMG in an import Charvel I bought back in the day.

i got a question.... and im sure its very simple to answer....sorry for not knowing much about the subject,..,,


but...

what is with the flames?

Is it a classic thing Charvel has done since day 1?

Im not a fan, and that's obviously, my opinion...but just wondering where they came from? or what the deal is/was?

I like everything about it, except: (1) the finish (not into the flames) and (2) the EMG. Give me a solid finish and a SD JB and I'd be good to go with it.

Yep! Would only change one tiny bit from your specs, DiMarzio SD instead of the SD JB .
