Too many.

I'll throw Ronnie LeTekro (TNT) in the ring with his doubled midrangey crunch.

Speaking of Blue Murder, John Sykes' Mesa-Boogie Coliseum tone on Whitesnake (1987).

Great album. I heard Turn Up The Night the other day for the first time in years. Man, Tony Iommi was on FUCKING fire on that album.
AGREED!

Brad Gillis' live tone on 'Speak of the Devil'. I realize Ozzy went back and laid down vocal tracks post recording, but the bands sound on those Sabbath tunes and Gillis' tone are simply outstanding! Sad to that SOTD isn't available on ITunes. I actually can't find it available for download anywhere.
Anyways, it fucken rocks hard! Can I get an Amen?

Probably Pornograffiti - I'll take it as an 80's amp tone, even though it came out in 1990!

Honourable mentions to Master of Puppets and Seventh Son

Ah-men ...

That is an easy one. George Lynch's tone on Dokken's Under Lock And Key record. It was actually four amps mixed with a few other things by Michael Wagener to come up with that tone.

First MSG album.

Wore that record out trying to learn those licks.

Roger Glover produced.

CFH by Pantera with Terry Date producing. The beginning of an iconic and unique guitar tone that would be instantly recognizable for the next decade. I have a wall of warhead stacks and Randall X2 heads that never fail to bring a shit eating grin to my face every time I plug them in. Dimes tone isn't everyone's cup of tea,but one of my all time favorites.
