sounds great man!

Yup... Dunno if I'd call what I do having improv skills, but if you need someone to meander aimlessly forever over a backing track, I'm your man!Randy Van Sykes":23xs0e2o said:I believe that is the best and funnest way to play guitar. Interpret it your own way, create a style for yourself.sah5150":23xs0e2o said:Hey, I recommend you do what I did. LIsten to it once, learn none of it, and then just make it up as you go along.![]()

I'm quite certain I'm not even playing that intro correctly at all, but hey, I prefer not to actually learn anything and just wing it now...

I know guys in bands that are incredible at learning things note for note (I can never do that) and they have no idea how to write an original idea and don't understand the notes on their neck as well as they should...they just become repeaters IMO...have no improv skills.
HA! I'm actually tired of VH-style clips at this point!Chubtone":1syzyr7j said:That sounds great Steve. Beautiful strat tone. Now I think you know what kind of clip we want to hear next with a 12000 series and an El Capistan. I feel like Jennifer Lopez just showed me her elbow. Not what I was looking for J-Lo5150.![]()
I hav very low expectations for the team after the sanctions, so my TV is intact... I still like watching them play though...Chubtone":1syzyr7j said:So uh, are you a little nervous about the game tonight? Did you have to buy a new TV last Sunday?

Cool man! Glad you dug it. I'm gonna have to try the El Capistan out front - never tried it that way...ttosh":vesejhx0 said:Steve that sounded excellent. I have used the El Capistan out front and love it, need to give it a try in the loop as well. Nice improv and very tasty tone and playing!!
