What happens is that if anyone comes in here and presents ideas, evidence, cites laws against whatever conservative bullshit is going down in the current hour this time, they inevitably get called an idiot leftist faggot for not repeating whatever maga theme song has been chosen this week. And when they realize they're talking to ad hominem spewing brick walls and respond in kind, they get called out for no longer being courteous, like it's only their responsibility to be the adults in a room full of children and keep the temperature down. I pretty much agree with you with a couple of additions.
Rittenhouse vs this situation aren't comparable at all. The intent of each were completely different. It's protecting property vs. actively protesting and interfering with LE. But the intent is beside the point. As a civilian, it's not a good idea to bring a firearm to an active protest/riot regardless of which side you're on. As already shown it's too easy for things to go sideways in the worst of ways.

Seeing several videos it's fairly obvious mistakes were made on both sides.

As said, not bright to bring a firearm to an active protest especially when your intent is to interfere. Then defying orders and actively assaulting LE is never ends well. He was helping the other person that was shoved, but the help should have been to help them up and walk away. Not start fighting with LE. Similar to Renee Good he put himself in that situation. All he had to do was yell from the sidelines and none of these events would have taken place.

On the other side, I don't know what lead up to the agent shoving that other person. Likely they were putting their hands on the agent in some way. That said it did seem a bit excessive of a shove that continued the chain of events. It is disturbing to see several agents firing on the guy. Regardless of legality it does seem to be excessive and against what I know about LE protocol.

Like you said, court of opinion is irrelevant and crap. None of us were there, let alone in the heat of that situation. So it's hard to truly take in the entirety of the chain of events. Tensions are high on both sides and everyone's on edge. Trying to look at it objectively it's one of those everyone sucks here situations. That said I think it will be found as a legally justified shooting. When it comes down to it though, I'm blaming the real source. The idiotic democrat leadership and media who keep riling up and egging on these unstable people with their fascist gestapo bullcrap.

You left out the part where you initially come in acting an ass by assuming everyone's opinion on the subject and insulting people up front. Then expect people to respond to that like you were just coming in to have a civil discussion.
