I've played many styles of music over the years. Between the ages of 20-24 I was a full time pro (meaning I starved not meaning I was some kind of hotshot). I played country (old time country Merle, Hank, etc) blues rock (Allmans etc), I played a legit reading gig with a bunch of old jazz guys who did weddings and country clubs and political events, I did some big band gigs playing Freddy Green and I ate ramen and KD and canned tuna. All the while taking classical music theory and composition classes at the college. And I DIDN'T get more pussy than Frank Sinatra.

I gave up the dream and finished my degree. Since then I've played in fun cover bands and been a weekend warrior. And played in one originals band that had some interest shown by an indie label but nothing ever came of it. That was probably my most musically satisfying gig. Oh, I've been in a few host bands at blues jams. That was a lot of fun.

Gear? I play Strats and Les Pauls. I do have a couple 335s and a couple Teles too. And a Jazz Bass (I'm kind of a natural on bass, I was never a natural on guitar I just put in hours and hours and hours on the thing). I like Tweed Fender Amps and early Marshall amps. That's my sound.

After covid I haven't gigged out of choice. I hate dealing with drunks. The money is awful. I still love getting together with some good players and making noise.
