I do a lot of research and studies into universal function and in so doing - I do a LOT of studies on magnetism. To skip a long boring intro - I thought some of you would be delighted to discover that crystal lattices are, in fact, real. So if someone were to say that there are 'crystal lattices in a vacuum state' - they are stating something that is real/proven as a general idea/theory. I do not know if this actually applies to anyone's amp building claims - but it is fun that the idea as a whole is now confirmed.

I always thought that Dumble's point was about "electrons surviving in a crystal lattice" was about how analog vs solid state / digital impact or clip / filter a signal. Even with high fidelity (lots of digits), in the end digital is 1's and 0's analog isn't constrained to binary. At some point, the digital fidelity(accuracy) may make the AD conversion negligible or close to zero, but never zero.

I think he was talking about solid state specifically, not digital. He saw crystal lattices in transistors which are solid semiconductor materials such as silicon, which Dumble said restricted/filtered the signal, losing "fragile harmonics" which are the overtones that give guitars greater warmth and rich texture. Tubes preserve these fragile harmonics, according to Dumble.

In quantum computing , qubits can be 1,0 or combination of both...so maybe quantum modelers will sound better?
