Dating a VH4 Based on Serial Number

Hi...going to look at amp tonight to purchase...would like to figure out the date of manufacture based on the serial number...never seen a Diezel number...any info is welcomed. ..thanks

The first two digits on the VH4 serial number are the year.

Thanks...I am now a proud owner of a 2014 VH4!!!...now I can sell my Marshall and most of my pedals...its tone was even better in person than I expected and I had high expectations.
