I would not sell an item to you, if you begged me.....even if you offered more than I was asking. Just because I do my best to avoid FLAKES. I see reading is a problem for you as well. Not once, did I ever defend the seller. In fact, I repeatedly said the seller was at fault and was in the wrong(read my posts). Man, there are some slow mothafukas on here. I made it clear that the buyer had every right to be upset, and to STILL be upset. I just said, that by responding to the seller in the way that he did, he did not help HIMSELF. Did he have the right to respond the way he did to the seller....of course he did! But, at the same time, it only caused the buyer more grief. "What....don't....you....get....about....that?" Am....I....getting....through....to....you? (Probably not )

That is the very first time that you've clearly made that particular point from what I can recall (I'm not going back and rereading). If that's all you've been trying to say, then I agree with you.

I actually agree with this for the most part. Look...I'm not going to say the dude isn't at fault here, because he is. He said he was going to follow through with something at a certain time but didn't. That was wrong, and I personally have never done this as a seller and would never want to not ship something on the day that I said I would....unless something just came up that was unavoidable. But, I honestly think you overreacted BIG TIME....and because of this, you are in the bind that you are in.

You would have been better off just letting him ship it a couple of days later and then putting him on your "DO NOT DEAL WITH" list for future transactions. Instead, you blew up on him....threatening to demand your money back....then actually demanding your money back with a "right now or else!" attitude and then wonder why he has not gave you a refund yet. Sure, he could have gave you a prompt refund, but now that you pissed him off severely, he obviously figures "how about I just fuck this guy around, sense he keeps threatening a paypal dispute...I think I'll let him just do that before I ultimately give him the refund." I'm not saying what he is doing is right. It's just the way the world works....you yank on someone's chain....odds are, they'll turn around and do the same if possible. You just took it to an entirely different level that it didn't need to be taken to.

And, this whole "I was expecting it to be here by the weekend without question!"....is totally irrational. Like the other dude said, you are dealing with an individual, not a business...you should not expect a tight deadline. There have been many times I purchased something where I expected it (in my mind) to arrive around a particular time, but actually did not show up for a slight bit longer. I just shrug it off and am glad I got it later, even if it took slightly longer than anticipated.....as long as were talking within a manageable time. I think, maybe something came up on his end that delayed the shipment....I just don't go ape-shit over a couple of days. Call me crazy?

Exactly. Not sure what you are confused about rupe? "I'm really curious to see how you justify your own words " Well rupe, ...is it really that much of a mystery to you??? Nothing wrong with the buyer expecting it to be shipped with the seller said he would....but that whole part about "subsequently lead to it being available for the weekend." Where exactly do you get that? Where is that written in stone? If the guy ships it on Wed, and the package doesn't arrive by Saturday....would you expect foul play to be involved and thereafter begin a full investigation? Gimmie a break. If the buyer really, really, really, wants to have it by Saturday, then the buyer should pay for next-day shipping to ensure that it arrives on time. And, if the seller doesn't get it ship, then yeah.....the seller would be solely to blame. As it is, the seller is solely to blame in this instance anyways, as he never shipped it. But, let's say he did on Wed. and the buyer never received it by Saturday. Would your world come to an end? To answer your question: "Why should a buyer not expect a tight deadline when the seller gave one?" For one, he did NOT give a tight deadline for when the item would arrive, he simply said he'd ship it on a specific day.(which I know he didn't, but is beside the point I'm trying to make) So yeah, a buyer is free to expect an arrival time, but should not LIVE or DIE by that said time. There are variables to everything. It's like that old saying, "SHIT HAPPENS!"....because, it occassionally does. Do you understand now? Or, are you still having trouble?

I am NOT taking sides in this long standing argument ( ), but I will say definitively that Bill ('rupe') is no flake, and he is a stand up guy to deal with. It's a shame you two can't "iron out" your interpersonal issues. I weep openly about this breakdown in relations.....

I agree with the first part. but it does go on both halfs equally. If you sell something you have no choice but to follow through and not back out. If it is needed it by the weekend then any constituents should have been made crystal clear ahead of time - no one is a mind reader.

FWIW i always deliver when said. It's just good business. However, being demanding when someone has your money and your product is a good way to get fucked over if you don't know the seller personally. Once again i would/could never steal from someone like that but there are others who obviously do not think anything of it that exist.

I agree with everyone that said I should have communicated better. Not making excuses, I was just was just fried, stressed, and over loaded. Either way, that much is my fault and I'm sorry for that.

Smdb, your refund was processed. Why it's taking Paypal so long to reverse it back to you is beyond me. Here's a screenshot of what it's telling me..
