Did Trump just threaten to use Nuclear Weapons on Iran?

Why do you think that is?
Most likely because of his ( legitimate ) bitching about NATO and the US bankrolling security for western Europe. It seems they like to urge the US to stay out of other people's business except where their own security is concerned. I mean we are basically having to beg them to step in Ukraine. Absolutely nothing Russia can do in Ukraine is going to affect US citizens like it will Europe, yet we are the ones carrying the load.

Ironically there can be no doubt the Infidel westerners who have the most to fear from a belligerent and nuclear armed Iran are in western Europe.

It’s not just allies in NATO though. And this is the first example I can think of where America hasn’t been able to rally its allies to help them in the past 30 years? (if there’s any other examples please let me know).

All I can think of is the US unpredictable behaviour to its allies over the past year, the flip flop of objectives, and the fact that you guys said you’re reacting to Israel on day one. If the shoe was on the other foot would you want your country getting involved in that?

Such a weak and played out reply. Any criticism of your Dear Leader is TDS?
Well, you and YNGHL and a whole lot of other Europeans from other boards I frequent are all examples of people who spend far more time complaining about and attempting to disparage Trump than almost anyone I know that lives in this country. In fact it's unprecedented the animosity toward Trump by foreigners as well as the American left. The fact is Trump really isn't any worse than a whole lot of other presidents policy wise or personality wise. It's nearly impossible for someone looking rationally at the last 11 years to conclude anything other than a concerted effort by US politicians on both sides of the aisle, along with a media long devoid of any interest in objectivity or actual journalism having conspired to take down a guy who campaigned ( and was elected) promising to break the corrupt American political system. And before we go sideways here, I am not suggesting he was effective at it or judging the earnestness of his attempt. US politicians who are used to using their "Public service" to make themselves enormously wealthy were threatened by him from the second he quit donating millions to their campaigns and began his own campaign promising to change it. And now that it is unlikely or impossible for him to actually succeed in that campaign promise we are left with an ocean of media manipulated would be partisans who believe what the internet tells them to believe and 500 little Hitlers in DC who want to make damn sure no "Populist", non politician loud mouth like Trump ever threatens their cash cow again.

It's kinda hard for me to take anyone seriously when they suggest that Trump is a danger to democracy when you consider the nature of the political system and the political class in this country prior to Trump. Politicians are openly corrupt and never held to account. Media personalities blatantly lie and are never held to account. And THAT is what the people claiming Trump is a danger to democracy are defending. THAT is what they want you to believe IS democracy.

I can understand, accept and respect people who's opinion is that Trump sucks. I even agree with a lot of it. But the entire political landscape has changed in an unprecedented and irreversible way now. The days of left and right compromising and having civil discourse and debate about issues are long gone, never to return. How the fuck can you expect the country to ever go back to the status quo when the status quo has been outed as a completely corrupt money grab by politicians of all stripes who would crawl over their mother's grave to fuck their sister ?

Not sure what you mean. In either case I really don't know. My guess is he lives somewhere under former control of "The Crown". He's alluded to not being American, if that's what you mean.

Thanks for the cogent response. I agree with much of what you said and disagree on some fundamental points. I'll write more later.

What Inbred Beta Coward CUNTz really means is that he’ll use ChatGPT for a response and post it later.

Elegant and to-the-point post IMHO bro'.

Well-done I say.

Elegant and to-the-point post IMHO bro'.

Well-done I say.

Yep, it sums up what a lot of us feel.

It reminds of that Hamlet quote about the lady doth protesting too much.

Trump is literally just a 90s democrat. Almost every single one of his actual political positions are completely indistinguishable from Clintonian triangulation. He is certainly populist and bombastic, but he isn't extreme or fascist in any discernable way, and it's impossible to take anyone seriously who tries to imply that he is - media, individual, whatever.

His positions are actually so middle of the road, it makes the media histrionics about him (and the brainwashed masses of facebook boomers and 16 year old blue haired sentient noserings with activated amygdalas downstream from that propaganda) the most conspicuous and suspicious thing about the last 10 years or so.

That isn't to say you can't disagree with a bunch of his policies and be taken seriously; I definitely disagree with him (and floyd, for that matter) about our foreign and military aid to israel. As well a whole bunch of other shit. Honestly that's fair. Anyone can potentially disagree with Trump or his policy prescriptions about anything and it be cool, but that's never what happens.

It's always generalized buzzwords, squeals of fascism, political whataboutism, every single possible political propaganda tactic WITHOUT responding to, or giving realistic alternatives to any single policy position he takes. Ever.
