Thanks! Pretty cool, though I probably would just go with the VH4 and my own FXs.

Pretty amazing tech I must say, sounds like a VH4 to me. But, I've only played one (borrowed for a gig) and it was long ago.
Thing is, if something breaks down, I'd imagine that would have to go back to Papa Diezel for repair? Pretty complicated piece of gear to fix I'd imagine.

I played it at namm and it’s pretty killer. Didn’t get any vid though.

For tube purists know this amp always has at least one AD conversion happening. It is post preamp. I believe the designer is the one who responded to me based on the intricate knowledge of the circuit.

I will still try one, hoping its the amp Ive been dreaming of.

Thanks for posting this. I wondered if there was always at least one AD conversion always going on or if it only came into play when the effects are active. I assumed there would be, but honestly I figure if I were considering an amp with built-in digital effects I better get past the idea of AD in my amp lol

exactly my thoughts on the subject as well.

I wonder if this will be like a foreseeable trend in the future? Like the VHX seems amazing but I wonder if in 1-2 you could look at any "amp recommendation" thread and replace all those amps with the VHX version of them.

Looks like a cross between a Line 6 Helix RM unit with a Microsoft Media Player GUI. Maybe the VHX in its digital hybrid forward thinking kinetic will also include an enhanced "Play speed settings" snap slider too.
