Does it sound like the old RG series?
Does the boost tighten it up like Dime did with the PQ & MXR EQ?
Or what's the boost do?

Mike

Thanks for posting that!

I'm gunna have to get one, just to have one! I miss all my randalls, but I play the Meathead and that goes away right quick hahaha

But this thing sounds great!

Cheers!

Hell I figured for $349 NEW, why not? thinking about the matching cabs as well, same price, and have heard that they are pretty damned well built, and have Eminence speakers too. :D

wow, there's an all out Dime frenzy on the boards lately!
I don't love his tone, but that amp nails it for a great price

That sounded great!

Man great times we live in regarding amps, so many cool choices that sound good and will not break the bank.

Nice playing bro

This right here is truth.

The stuff that is out there in the under $500 range for both guitars and amplifiers is incredible.

But then again, kids these days will never be able to look back, with fondness, on playing through a Gorilla combo

I have a nice Randall nameplate that would look cool on one of these amps.....(strokes beard)

Does it have a voltage drop when boost is engaged, like regular RG100ES?

HA!!!  my first gorilla was a 15 watt with an 8" speaker. then i found a 25 or 30 watt gorilla with a 10" speaker at a pawn shop and thought i was king of the hill :D

my first amp was a Marlboro amp with like 2 8" or 2 6-1/2" speakers.....

my first amp was a Fender Bassman 100 Combo with the back taken off, holy hell that thing was brutal, of course that was in 1973, then I threw a Memory Man on there just for shits and giggles, wish I still had it. Mike what you got there sounds great and talking from someone who knows how camcorder mics do not convey what your rig sounds like, I can only imagine what it sounds like at ground zero...

thanks for shairing...
