Sounds a lot like BE-100 where they forgot to include the clean channel.

I saw a bit of that earlier. I know from before that Euge and I don´t really hear things the same way, so it wasn´t a demo for my ears. But I have heard that thing sound amazing enough times already, so I am sorely tempted despite having a 3 Monkeys Zé that covers a lot - if not most - of that ground.

If he´d had a greenback cab going on the clips I probably would have loved it.

Count Yuge Velveeta always compares featured amp to his amps.
The Jose and BE 100 Deluxe sound very similar

They're close, but there's a difference in the room and in the feel. The BE is smooth, polished, the Jose is brighter and raw. For me, the BE feels stiffer.

The guys I know that have played, or own both say that the Jose is noticeably less polished / produced sounding by comparison to the BE Deluxe series...more organic and raw.

That's my experience. I'd take the Jose every day over the BE-DLX. Not quite enough to sell my BE just yet but knocked it down the ranks considerably.

The BE 100 feels stiffer? Interesting. I was just telling someone yesterday that my plans for the Jose are because I wanted something less chewy and spongey than my BE50. That kind of feel and sound is nice, but it's not the only kind of feel I like. I saw someone on TGP was selling their Jose for $3000 shipped (it sold). There are deals now out there if you look.

It's hard to explain. The BE has more low-mids so sounds a little chewier than the Jose, but to me, the high end feels stiffer and less open. It's a feel thing. It's like I'm always wanting a little more from the BE that the Jose just gives me. Stiffer might not be the right word. The Jose feels less constricted? IDK, it's hard to describe a feeling.

The Jose is less compressed...If that is what is contributing to the "feel" you are describing

Yeah, T75s? It sounded OK, but it really loves greenbacks and it's pretty good with V30s, too. I've got an '84 JCM800 1960 that probably has the same speakers as his. It's a great cab, just not my first or second choice for my Jose.

Yeah, less compressed, more open, more air. Definitely more dynamic, more responsive. When I really dig in, the Jose gives me what I want from that, what I expect, and the BE kinda falls flat. The BE is a great amp, too, but not as expressive as the Jose. At least that's my experience.

Haven't you played one, yet??? 😉
