Hey guys,
I've been having my Hagen for almost a week now, it's actually sounding better and better, like if it needs a "break up", because of the new tubes I suppose...
I've found my sweet spot on Channel 3, exactly where the line start over the gain knob. All is fine... except for the palm mutes that I don't feel so tight, and if I crank the gain it's a bit too muddy for me.
I was thinking about using a boost in front of the amp, a first test with ma TS clone with gain @ 0 level @ max was quite pleasant. The best would be an "always on" pedal... What kind of boost do you use with your Diezels ? Or may be I'm the only one ? I was mainly thinking about the Xotic EP booster...
Thanks !
