If Rev Blue, I think it says so above the serial number. If not, I think a rubber or leather handle will tell you whether it's Rev 1 or 2?

So basically s/n 157. Would that be a Rev Blue? It seems really early in the production if it's the 157th one to be a Rev Blue..???

I don't know for sure but would agree that #157 would be too low to be a blue.

Yeah mine is around 225 and a Rev 2. I'm trying to find one for a friend. If it's a 1st version how much does the lack of gain taper matter? I know another buddy has an original and loves it and I love my Rev 2.

Mine had the original gain taper and although Bogner swapped it out for me, I wasn't bothered by it. If you tend to use your eyes for dialing in an amp it could be a pain. Use your ears and no big deal.
