Got one near me that is 0040XX. From what I can see, this is a Rev G. The seller says he emailed Mesa - he sent me the email - and they say it is a Rev F.

I’ve seen the rectifier website and that website backs what I understand as far as serial numbers but does anyone know if Rev Fs made their way out in higher that the mid 3500 range?

T Verbs are NOT on the same revision schedule as the Dual, Triple rectos. If I remember right, the first versions that had a series loop like the early duals did had a Rev D on the board. There was one for sale, a combo that was put into a home-brew head shell that was for sale at a Music Go Round about 10 yrs ago....Rev D on the board, attached cable and Series loop.
But, the D board on the early TOV was equal to an F in circuit. So the earliest ones had a D on the power cap board. I just cannot remember the actual serial # of that amp.

@GJgo would know more on this subject than I.

Racerxrated is correct. The Tremoverb has its own circuit layout and revisions (RR-1C through RR-1E) and there's no correlation to early revision Solo Heads (RF-1C through RF-1F).

You could argue that the Tremoverb pioneered some of the changes that were carried over to the Rev G—these include better cleans, darker lead channels, and a dedicated 16 ohm output (due to the 562105 output transformer that was later used in regular Duals).

A serial effects loop doesn't mean a Tremoverb has the brighter/tighter tone of a Rev F. According to Mike B., their tone never changed with revisions, so they're all a bit darker and looser in the vein of Rev Gs.

So the TOV revisions don’t yield any sonic variances like the Recto revisions?

I had a tremoverb with a serial loop and was an earlier version. I think they all were combos and had a big Mesa logo center of the cab (not smaller and off to the left).

I thought it vaguely sounded like a Rev E Dual Rectifier I had (bright and fuzzy). I wouldn't say it sounded like a Rev F. I didn't actually like it (or the Rev E).

I think mine is 3600 range. I haven't plugged it in recently.
