didnt hear of or much seen on Fortin Natas as i wonder has anyone deal with Mike Fortin yet on a Natas two channel beast ? has the price seen more affordable ? :D

I'm curious if anyone played a Randall Satan A/B against Natas and what the results were like....Fortin is so unique it is like a new category in a sea of similarity: Fender, Marshall, Mesa, Fortin

Pretty sure Mike can't sell the Natas or Satan anymore since both designs were sold to Randall.

The Natas became the Randall Thrasher and the Satan (obviously) became the Randall Satan.

I'd be happy to be proven wrong though.

I just want to get my hands on a Fortin Grind pedal. It's been months and months with no sign of it ever going back into production. Fucking bitter.

I had a GRIND. Cool pedal, but you can dial in your 808 to be close. Put the gain on 0 or just a slight amount and Max the tone out full throttle and you're in the ballpark.

damn.... $5k!!!

I am sure they are very sweet but that is a lot of coin for an amp.

You guys in the US are cheap :D :D

When I buy an amp in the US imported here to Denmark it much expensive. Last amp I bought from US was like $4800 with customs

The JP-2C im gonna buy is $4500.

A Natas would run me $6800

I never got to A/B them, but I absolutely love my Natas. I totally agree about Fortin bringing something new to the table, which is definitely nice these days. Here's a quick clip I did a couple of weeks back with my Natas. It's nothing special and pretty short, but whatever lol. The level is a little low, so expect to have to turn it up a bit.

I'll give that a try. Thanks for the assist.

would anybody pay such price for a badass amp at 5k being a hobbyist ?

Buy one! Mike builds rock solid stuff that'll last a lifetime!
You only live once, and all of a sudden, in a blink of the eye,
we'll all be in our 70's... thinking "Why didn't I ____ ?!!

Attaboy!!!!

I personally didn't like the Natas when I tried it. It sounded synthetic and the powerchords didn't sound as growly or big/wide as I wanted. I AB'ed with a Baron DHG that I bought at the time (don't have it anymore) and I thought it smoked the Natas. It sounded way bigger and more growly and aggressive and every bit as tight and articulate. The Natas though had a metallic quality that was especially noticeable on chugs and I liked that aspect of it, but overall it was one of the most disappointing amps for me. Not trying to rain on the parade, just sharing my thoughts. I love my Grind pedal and would still love to try the Cali mod if I get a chance. I'm curious how his mods compare to Gowers.

well hi braintheory :) .... glad you had a chance to try the Natas.... were you saying its not as "Natural" sounding...?
but i also like the Fortin clip which killertone did....

I used to jones for a Natas. But I didn't dig the thrasher very much. I think the fortin hulk is a better amp for me.

And if the Natas is your dream amp,and it works perfectly for you,IMO $5k is worth it. But I like spending my hard earned money on stuff I want,I'm not a cheapskate.
