I'd love to try one... but probably unpossible in my neck of the woods.

I personally didn't like the Natas when I tried it. It sounded synthetic and the powerchords didn't sound as growly or big/wide as I wanted. I AB'ed with a Baron DHG that I bought at the time (don't have it anymore) and I thought it smoked the Natas. It sounded way bigger and more growly and aggressive and every bit as tight and articulate. The Natas though had a metallic quality that was especially noticeable on chugs and I liked that aspect of it, but overall it was one of the most disappointing amps for me. Not trying to rain on the parade, just sharing my thoughts. I love my Grind pedal and would still love to try the Cali mod if I get a chance. I'm curious how his mods compare to Gowers.

well hi braintheory :) .... glad you had a chance to try the Natas.... were you saying its not as "Natural" sounding...?
but i also like the Fortin clip which killertone did....
Yes, definitely not an organic sounding amp. It's not as processed sounding as something like a Herbert or Powerball, but still too artificial for my tastes.

I figured I'd keep the thread alive with another clip. I decided to swap about the MCP Hothead for my Garuda and see how it sounded in this axe. I realized a little late that the galloping part of the riff ended up being a total Iced Earth rip only slower and not as cool haha.

I played the Natas on several occasions... It sounded killer for drop tuned stuff. I even more amazed how good it sounded for Van Halen type stuff too. I would love to own one.
