Is that because they started tuning down for the vocals?

Yes, on the 2002 and the 2005 tour is a whole step down.

Before the Suhr pickups, he was using Duncan Custom Custom bridge pickups in the Les Pauls and Duncan Holdswoths in the strats. (Basically, a double screw JB). He told me that the Custom Custom helped to tame the highs of his Marshalls.

And one of my favorite Black Sabbath tunes besides the Mob Rules.........What a great fookin guitar amp tone.....I believe these were Suhr modded Marshall's and maybe a Cameron Ocean.....from what I remember?????? Was he using the Suhr Aldrich pickup in this video??

Total Pro. Aldrich is also the only gunslinger who has EVER done justice to John Sykes' solos in concert with Whitesnake, none of the other big names even came within a mile.
