FWIW - about once every 90 days my left ear gets really blocked - over the counter drug store ear wax removal drops and the irrigation kit as recommended on this tread has me back to 100%. But it accumulates so gradually that I don't notice it until its ... well .. noticeable!
I used to LIVE with bud style headphones and tunes in my head nearly every waking hour. And I used to have to clean both ears out every few weeks. Now its only the left ear and its only about once every 90 days. But it is disconcerting when half your world goes quiet!
