I know this subject has been run into the ground, but with all the pedals I own, I have yet to get one that approximates the D sound. Yes, I understand that no pedal will completely nail it, and yes, I own a tube amp. I use both humbuckers and single coils. I've been researching this for a while, reading forums, watching videos, etc. I've got it narrowed down to a Zendrive 1 (the newer Lovepedal version), Mad Professor (Triodipaja) Simble, and the Amplified Nation Big Bloom. Others I've considered are the Weehbo Dumbledore & HAO Rumble Mod. The Ethos and Zendrive 2 are a little too expensive for me right now. I have several Wampler pedals, but their Euphoria doesn't seem as Dumble-esque based on demos I've heard. If anyone out there has compared any of these, how do they compare when it comes to Dumble-esque note bloom, violin and reed-like tones, and harmonic overtones (almost sounding like notes on the verge of feedback)? Those are the traits I'm most interested in---I can't afford a new amp, so I have to settle for a pedal that at least comes close. Any advice is appreciated!

You'll surely get more luck on TGP for anything Dumble related

I own the Hermida Zendrive, Ethos TLE and Jetter GS124, but have yet to compare them side by side
Most affordable one is the Simble, which you can also find used on TGP fairly easily

Check out the Okko Diablo. Very open and midheavy dumble like.

What kind of amp are you running thru? I have an original Zendrive, the new ones are fairly close, have thought about the Big Bloom as well,, why don't you buy one and let me know how it is?

After getting advice through several forums, reading reviews, and watching demos, I've decided on the Mad Professor Simble. Happy Holidays, everyone!
