Not surprising,. MN has always been a screwed up state where the DFL was somehow forever entrenched. The scandahoovians brought their shitty socialist policies there and when combined with tribual politics and lack of opportunities you have a recipe for corruption, crime, and a weird authoritarianism that the left seems to have adopted as part of their platform federally. Strangely enough it was one of the few places where a real candidate was elected; governor Jesse Ventura. They basically ran him through the mud on a statewide scale kind of like Trump except Jesse was true to his promises and not the self aggrandizing type of Epstein island visitor Trump is. It's a beautiful state with good fishing and lots of mosquitoes but you couldn't pay me to live there again.

Interesting that high crime rates have similar state listings, only missing California.

I'm sure as soon as the ruling demoncrat parasites in California realize they're not a duty to retreat state, they'll fix that.

Since I have no interest or plans to visit or live in California, maybe I should just point it out to them... maybe starting with @JohnnyGtar state rep and state senator, and mayor would be best?

Agreed. I spent mucho time on some of those lakes and rivers. The other nice part is if you are stuck there there is a ton of state land to camp on free of charge if you can stand the mosquitoes. If you can you can have many hundreds or even thousands of acres rent and tax free cause no one else will want to come back there to camp mostly except you still gotta watch out for drunk rednecks 4x4'ing out there so being armed is kinda critical.

well that should deter armed criminals in MA; knowing how difficult it is to own a firearm, especially a handgun, in most of MA.

Here, most of the armed crimes are in blue areas where criminals have a higher probability their victims aren't armed.

Until an aggressive stray wanders into your hood and starts sizing up your kids playing in the front yard for lunch. Easy access to guns is a necessity for rural life.
