Wasn't doing much for me either... a proper power amp and speaker cab must be key here. I also think there are far too many gizmos on this thing for it to be useful to me. I'll never use 1/4 of the sounds.

Which is why I wish they'd release a stripped down version. Just the most popular amp models, just a few cabinets for when you want to go direct, and a decent variety of delay, verb, and modulation. And make it more user friendly for the guy who won't ever use FRFR.

I agree , eventhough I have a AX2 on order . A "lite" version with just 20 or 30 sims and basic effects would be great.
My guess is you will see that one day...

I like what Mark Day does he runs one out with cab sims to monitor and out 2 feeds a cab poweramp set up ..to me that is ideal you get the cab punch on stage and hear the produced version coming through your montitors ...Pure FRFR IMO is not the same Thump ..the tone maybe clearer ,,it may be more versatile or neutral for going from an Ac30 to a Recto , cool for a jazz guy .but it is not that 412 pant flapping experience.

Quite honestly I liked everything that was coming out of this video - everything. Dweezil, covering much of his Dad's stuff, is used to playing with gobs of effects and layers...that's just the style of his and his Dad's music. I thought the sound was terrific, I liked the way it cleaned up with the guitar controls, and I liked the effects that were doled out.

I think this thing is pretty damn outrageous. I suppose the level of committment to pure digital is up to the user to define as well:
1. Go DI into your DAW, use headphones
2. Go with an FRFR system like that of the Mackie or Atomics
3. Go with a solid poweramp into your choice of cabs

Overall, it's pretty customizable and configurable, and I'm seeing the benefit to these big time. Not asking for a flame war, but I seriously liked each and every one of the tones Dweezil was conjuring from this thing.

Mo :dunno:

Damn that punk Dweezil for disgracing the Cameron name wiith that

Every Cameron owner should challenge him to a headchopping and show that punk what Cameron is all about!!!!!!!!!
