Quite honestly I liked everything that was coming out of this video - everything. Dweezil, covering much of his Dad's stuff, is used to playing with gobs of effects and layers...that's just the style of his and his Dad's music. I thought the sound was terrific, I liked the way it cleaned up with the guitar controls, and I liked the effects that were doled out.
I think this thing is pretty damn outrageous. I suppose the level of committment to pure digital is up to the user to define as well:
1. Go DI into your DAW, use headphones
2. Go with an FRFR system like that of the Mackie or Atomics
3. Go with a solid poweramp into your choice of cabs
Overall, it's pretty customizable and configurable, and I'm seeing the benefit to these big time. Not asking for a flame war, but I seriously liked each and every one of the tones Dweezil was conjuring from this thing.
