I generally see the Eastman T386 gets good reviews on TGP, but I was curious if anyone here has tried one or owns one. I am GASing hard for a Semi Hollow ES335 or ES339 style guitar.
I played some of their larger jazz boxes back around '06 and thought that they were great for the price...easily the best built guitars that I've seen coming from China.
Another cool semi-hollow import worth checking out is the Hanson Chicagoan...the one I played easily hung with a late model 335 that it was being compared to. http://hansonguitars.com/chicagoan-st.htm

That Chicagoan looks great. I just wish it had full sized humbuckers. It looks like Elderly Instruments carries Eastman and Hanson, it might be worth a trip to check them out.
Yes Elderly carries both but I'd call before you drive to make sure they have them in stock! I work in Lansing so I could check on my lunch one day and snap some pictures for you if needed! Let me know!
