If you don't like them in there and want to get rid of them, let me know, I may want some for my incoming amp.

I'll have a like new quad of 6CA7's coming out!

I remember liking the AE quite a bit. Liked it more than the Blackmore, REALLY liked the F100, but the Savage 120 was king of the Engls for me. I've almost pulled the trigger on the AE many times over the years...maybe someday I will.
Sounds like a Fireball with EL34's! It's VERY aggressive! More aggressive than the Splawn, and the Retro I had.

This and how do the two master volumes work? It looks like it's channel-specific, rather than 'one louder' than the other for solos or anything.
Yeah I used to do the same volume loop thing with the JSX.napalmdeath":3c64vvgk said:Junk Yard Dog":3c64vvgk said:jabps":3c64vvgk said:Napalm...how is it at low bedroom volumes?napalmdeath":3c64vvgk said:MetalHeadMike":3c64vvgk said:Cool...sounds like it worked out for ya.

Its loud, for sure, but you can balance it out and make it work. I use my RP1000 in the loop for FX only, and use the volume pedal to attenuate, to an extent. I can crank the amp a bit more.
Its somewhat of a balancing act between the channel volume, and master. It doesn't do as well with the master cranked, and then using the channel volume. You need the channel volume up to at least 9-10:00 o'clock. Any less, it thins out. The channel volume needs opened up a bit. I have both the channel and master at 10:00, which is the sweet spot. Then, like I said, I use the volume pedal from the RP1000. Works very well.
I don't have the footswitch to really delve in, but manually switching the gain boost, switches to Master A. I leave the boost on. It thickens up the tone.
Low volumes? Yeah, it'll do it. I tried it with my RP1000, and it's doable.

Yep, but you could push it a little more. Unfortunately low volume playing is the norm for me now so gotta have a good MV.napalmdeath":ctc89go9 said:jabps":ctc89go9 said:Yeah I used to do the same volume loop thing with the JSX.napalmdeath":ctc89go9 said:Junk Yard Dog":ctc89go9 said:jabps":ctc89go9 said:Napalm...how is it at low bedroom volumes?napalmdeath":ctc89go9 said:MetalHeadMike":ctc89go9 said:Cool...sounds like it worked out for ya.

The JSX does well at low volumes, no trickery needed!

I'm narrowing down my choices of next purchase and the Artist has been high on the list, thus so many questions lol.
