The blue one on the left, does ESP still make that headstock and what's the shape called?

It's referred to as cockstock.....for serious.

IMO isn't the Jackson Soloist as good as these without the ridiculous prices/wait times/screw ups? Made in the US also..

I played an ebony FB jackson soloist neck through against a few M-II's. IMHO the Jackson's do not hold a candle to a well build M-II. Not as resonant, natural wood quality of ESP's and their satin finishes are to die for, the overall inlay quality, feel, and fret-dress all are great. Perfect guitar and worth the wait and hastles. M-II overall feels like a well tuned machine once i had it setup to my preferences. Not judging one brand against another brand based on a few guitars each, but saying in my experience i much prefer an ESP over an upper end Jackson and i invested accordingly. The small details make for a big difference once you set it up to your playing style. That is what differentiates a wood shaped instrument, a good guitar, a great guitar, and a one of a kind.

@xzyryabx Very impressive collection man, those are beautiful. What kind of pups are in your Eclipse?

Nope, not for me.
I sold my esp kh-4 and bought a jackson sl2-h and the jackson was nice but a month later i was sorry i sold my esp, ive actually owned some really nice jacksons that was custom shop and signed by mike shannon and i still liked my custom esp better.

I've had both and overall I prefer the high-end ESPs over the high-end Jacksons.....I love the radius on Jackson necks but he ones I've tried i've prefered the ESP neck shape. I also prefer the ESP headstocks. At this level they are all great guitars, and I think in the end it just comes down to personal preference and what feels better in your hand.

No problem :) I was just trying to think of another guitar that would be similar to these without the $5000 or more price tag. The only other ones I can think of would be a Suhr Standard/Modern or a TA Drop Top maybe? The price for those is in the $3200 to $4200 range(new)but still less than $5000.

My good friend GLPG showed me this thread as I am a big ESP guy, so I decided to join :)

Some GORGEOUS ESPs in this thread! You all got good tastes. I love my Standards and would love a CS (or ten) one day.

I own an Sl2h Soloist, and had another SL2h and an Sl2ht before it, and while they are good guitar, I like my ESPs more in terms of overall fretwork, tone and feel. Plus the overall QC on ESPs is much better imho.

I will just like this do the talkin of where -
