I am thinking of buying new guitar. Arrow shape or King V would be my choice. I prefer King V to Arrow just for the shape. But, if E-ii has better QC I definetely choose E-ii over Jackson. Please let me know your opinion.
I agree . My student has a beautiful one . I didn’t even know they cost that muchI think E-ii are more consistent, but I would look for a good jackson usa king V just because i prefer the shape way more.
Me either. Jackson King V is perfect shape of metal guitar.I think E-ii are more consistent, but I would look for a good jackson usa king V just because i prefer the shape way more.

I Know E-ii is a lot cheaper than Jackson USA. If I go to E-ii route, I would buy another ENGL XXL cab lokmy studebts E-II sounds amazing through the Larry . It’s a good match

Jackson USA prices are insane too lolWith what’s happened to EII prices, Jackson USA, all day.
I got my Viper at GC used for $1400, in new off the shelf condition. This was about a year and a half ago before the big price hikes, but it was still a great deal even then. I would look for a used one if you can.Jackson USA prices are insane too lol

How long was the wait time when you ordered Hapas?? I am sure it won't take long as ESP or Jackson custom shop.I've had both, and they're both great. Jackson uses a thinner finish, which makes the guitars more resonant and feel better to play, IMO. But prices on both are pretty outrageous these days.
I had a pro series king V for $1k that was punching harder than some of my Japanese ESPs from the early 2000s.
I don't have any of these guitars anymore. ESP finishes are so thick they deaden the guitars, a lot like how my Kiesels were about 10 years ago. I'm down to 4 custom guitars, and it seems like where I want to be. I don't think I will be buying ESP or Jackson again moving forward because the prices for what you get don't sound and resonate as good as my Hapas guitars or my Bauers.
Diablo will deal off reverb for a better price usually FYI. Everything is out of control right now, totally agree. EIIs recent run of going over 4k after tax on some models, to me is bat shit though. Plenty of shops will do a USA Jackson for 4k. And the model you have there is a full on custom shop model. Not just the run of white and black selects. If Diablo will deal; and you can get that even for like a grand more than an eii I’d take that deal any day of the week.View attachment 419285
When it comes to buying 'pricy guitar', I prefer brand new. This is the guitar that I am looking now. If this guitar has gloss black or gloss grey finish, I would buy this immediately. The only bummer of this guitar is satin finish. Anyway thanks!!
