ESP Lynch Tiger help

That was off a focus 1000 if I remember right

Nope, that was a different contracted manufacturer, though the Focus 1000 did have a non-tiltback design. ESP built the non-tiltback necks for the original run of American-assembled Berettas. Same neck. I ordered one from the ESP custom shop to retrofit my 86 tiltback. And then my tech ran off with that guitar and a Charvel EVH (one of the originals with the letter from Grover and everything).
 
Wasn't a Kramer neck used on the first bones?

That's pretty cool! I have a Tiger I bought new back in 1988. Pre-Serial number.
