I am amazed how many people are using noise gates ??????
I never need one. At one time I felt they helped the sound, but defiantly do not feel that way any more.

Well, idk...maybe Im doing something wrong, but playing metal through a 6505 with the gain levels that I need pretty much requires a noise gate, otherwise Im feeding back when the strings arent ringing...
