F’ing Gas! I want a Tophat Emplexador

Had one years ago..great amp, but that was a “I want to try” all these cool amps everyone is talking about phase. Just watched a YouTube video and it reminded me what a great sounding amp they are for that Marshal flavor.

Haven’t tried that model, but have owned briefly and tried a few and to me not that special when compared to other stuff, especially the vintage equivalents they’re based on. Another “boutique” amp to me that sounds imo like the “from concentrate” version fo fresh squeezed vintage equivalent more or less

They really do some cool shit, and i think they're a bit of a dark horse as far as marshall style high gain tones.

There's a reason Pete Thorn owns one.....I've a had a couple different Top Hat combos that were pretty smoking. Played an Emplexador a bunch too. Great amp.

Agreed. It can be weird to dial in, but its original and cool.

Similar in tone to the Ecstasy Blue Channel. I had a few over the years. Brian makes awesome amps.

I remember having an early one.
Ran it with a 4X12 with the G12 H30 75's, the tight & bright ones(until those bad boys seat).
Redhouse never sounded so...,
like her sister will.
