IDK, but ultra blasting fast drummers leave me cold. I do admire them more as athletes, rather than musicians. Of course it's impressive to see them play.

The fact that most of them rely heavily on triggers and sample replacing is another turn-off. All of this IMHO, of course.

Give me Lombardo, Bonzo, or the good old Nicko anyday. Far more musical, tasteful and heavy. A drum machine can do ultra fast stuff, but it cannot replicate a soulful performance with lots of heaviness, nuances and groove like the one on the link.

Cheers guys

You said fine drumming, then you put up one of the Most edited and "fixed" drummers tracks up!
Lol!

How about some Krimh (drummer from Decapitated):

One of the best metal drummers in the world IMHO

Wowza!

That little hi-hat count in at 28 seconds or something, is bad ass. That's how you make a hi-hat your little quivering bitch.

Edit: I had to add this Video/Interview from Mike Smith. He is really awesome and I think this is great playing with targeting on all instruments with a great interiew.

I doubt either of these guys require much editing.

My all time favorite drummer, this guy pretty much broke alot of new ground and set a new bar for extreme drumming.

This isn't only a drum track, more of a track/advertisement but it is one of his best videos imo and another one of my favorites.
