This case specifically though, I read where one of the things they are fixing to charge him for has something to do with witness intimidation. And generally people don't step down and try to quietly fade away when they're innocent.
Also the sitting president absolutely was never convicted of a sex crime. He may well be guilty of sex crimes ( you don't know and I don't know) but he definitely wasn't convicted of a sex crime. (Which you definitely already knew.) You're simply trying to use whataboutism to deflect.

Which just goes to show you can win a civil case with absolutely no evidence. The accusations against him were exactly the same as the decades old accusations made against about 100 other politicians which magically only come to light when they run for office.
So yeah, he was found liable but in reality that doesn’t mean he was actually guilty.

Not a fan of this guy at all - not of most politicians
I sit here shaking my head though - not sure if I should be laughing or crying.
If any of you think either party gives a rat fuck about any taxpayers... in my opinion, you are sadly mistaken.
When the Republicans had a majority they did nothing to fix issues.
The fraud uncovered by DOGE - where is the savings?
The wave of illegals that came in - why are they not rounded up and booted out?
Why continued rewarding of lawlessness?
And politicians themselves - Insider trading. Vote themselves raises even though they don't do their jobs, lifetime benefits, exempt themselves from Obamacare, cushy pensions, no term limits.
Imagine that in the private sectors. Not to mention how many have had DUI charges, rape charges, credit issues, etc.
Corporations buying these fks off & getting their way for putting literal poisons in our food supply.
FDA, EPA, FBI, CIA, BLM - all bloat & not doing what they were chartered to do.. it's all a money suck.
Stealing of social security funds or paying out to those who never paid in. It was supposed to be voluntary when proposed.
Areas not being rebuilt after massive floods & fires - Hawaii, CA, (the CA fires are due to poor policy regarding controlled burns & water usage, as well as the power company). Smokey the bear was too effective, and incorrect.
The flock cameras going up everywhere - why not just pop them in politicians offices? It would be what is best "for our safety".
Carlin & Zappa had it right - the US gov't has been bought & sold many times over.
We are just cash cows for the elite, and have the illusion of freedom. Yes - we have choices, but we do not have true freedom.
In the mean time, they keep us divided and infighting along BS lines (race, religion, sexual choices, etc) so we don't unite & shred them all. Imagine if those few hundred had to look all the millions of enraged people that they fkd over in the eye, knowing it would be their last few moments.
It's insanity.. but we all walk around with blinders. I guess it's a survival mechanism for the masses. Some of us are aware and fed up.. but can't fight the system.
