I wanted to compare two SuperStrat type guitars, the Fender American Ultra II HSS Stratocaster and the Ibanez Prestige AZ2402, yes I know the Ibanez has two humbuckers, but it coil splits and gets Stratty/Tele tones.

The nore I thought about it, I decided to make it a comparison of guitars that sell MSRP for under $2800.
The Ibanez is $2199, the Fender is $2399, and the Gibson is $2799.

In my opinion this is the sweet spot in price for guitars that are high quality without breaking the bank.

There are guitars for less such as the Fender American Professional II series which are also great guitars, but I need noiseless pickups with my High Gain amps.

I usually play over backing tracks in my videos, but i this video I just wanted you to hear the tones of each guitar without much gain, so I did not use backing tracks.
You can go to my YouTube channel and find how each guitar performs to backing tracks if you want that info.

For me the results are...
Best Humbucker tone - Gibson #1, Ibanez #2
Best Single Coil tone - Fender, but the Ibanez is very close
Most Versatile - Ibanez followed by the Fender
Ergonomics - Ibanez followed by the Fender
Looks- all look great

If I had to pick one to own, the Ibanez is the Winner.
It is just so versatile and is the lowest priced.
