I like Fender; I like Fender Jaguars; I like 60s spec Fender Jaguars. I've owned a few, including a white Marr Jag, but I prefer the 60s spec electronics.

...and a matching headstock is required.

My son got an EBMM Majesty I was planning to sell; he tried my Jaguar and couldn't put it down. It's a Traditional late '60s MIJ, Lake Placid Blue:

So, before he asks to borrow mine, I decided to find him one; I found a white with gold hardware (a combination he likes), and a black with block inlays...and this, in Candy Apple Red (he likes red); MIJ, traditional 60s, a limited run for Ishibashi; so this will be his, an early b-day present:

I like Fenders but you know how I feel about jags, LOL.

The bright side to your thread is it's not about modeling gear.

Glad you're enjoying it....

I find the Jags remind me of my Rics but easier to play; and easier to play than a Fender Strat too.

The white with gold hardware, 60s spec electronics, neck, with painted headstock was very tempting, I know he likes that color combination, because he found a Gretsch in our local GC he loved to play while I was selling gear....glad I asked him which he liked.

I've had him try many of my guitars, and the Jag is the first one he played, and asked if he could use it; and now asks for it when he comes over to visit.

Like me he's into the Smiths, and Cure, and a Jag works well for both; like me he's also more of a rhythm player / singer vs a lead player...though he's into Blackmore, Gilmour and Fripp.

Leo's original designs and inventions still hold their own 70+ years and counting! That's nothing short of amazing IMO.
