Floyd Saddle Block Inserts Types & Effects

Got some good info recently on sustain blocks, now looking for the same on Floyd saddle insert blocks. Does brass, steel, or titanium make a huge difference. Can't find too many threads on this.

I'm looking at maybe adding brass insert blocks to my Floyd 1000 to help increase some clarity, articulation. I don't want to mellow it up. I'm confused b/c for some folks I read the brass adds some brightness and for others it can make things 'muddy', but that's more related to the sustain blocks vs the insert saddle blocks.

The stock instead are steel and will be more clear than brass.
