How is playing with two of the most relevant singers....

Not sure what I find more disturbing: That you refer to Cyrus as being one of the most relevant singers, or that you refer to her as being a singer at all. :D

Just can't stand the sound/tone of her voice & her billy goat vibrato.

I feel the same way about this video as I did when the actual Black album came out. How fitting that they chose this song too. Is it 1991 or 2021?

I never thought I would miss 80's Thrash as much as I do right now. I kept imagining a young Billy Milano walking into that studio during that recording, looking around and then trashing the place.

FFS that was horrible!

Re: Miley
Her episode of Black Mirror is actually really good, and funny!
She has no problem poking fun at her image either.

I shudder at the thought at the level of depravity and disgusting things that poor girl has been forced to witness and took part in.

As much as the episode is pretty funny, it is REALLY dark.

The tech is a bit futuristic, but not by much, and how she's used to make others money is very, very
disturbing. Especially in how easily everyone else goes along with it as long as there's a paycheck.

I can appreciate the impact of that (Black) album had as time went on... But when it came out in 89, I can remember clearly sitting in my car with a shitty Sony Disc Man plugged into my tape deck and that I couldn't get it to jam save for a few songs..

Looking back, the production was slick. Bob Rock makes great sounding records. And a couple years after the release, they were now playing Metallica on the radio which was considered heavy ass shit back in the day as far as radio was concerned.. Cut to the mid to late 90's and you had the next wave of heavy music on the radio because of Metallica.. However, don't forget that they cut their hair and started wearing makeup and faggoty feather boas, LARS...

They opened doors but gone was the fire and underground feel. I haven't bought a Metallica album since.. I can't blame them for going the way they did, but something gets lost the easier life gets I think.. MC annoys me with her breathy, droning tone. She's a rich kid and I don't wanna hear her singing greatest hits with the band.. That ain't Metal, that's Hollywood.. At least get a real Metal chick in there.. And that's my 2 cents..

It was a sell out back then and many years later history is repeated. I wish them all the financial success but this is silly.

I’m a huge Metallica guy and never bought the whole “sell outs” thing based on musical direction. But this shit is cringe worthy to the max. ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️

"Metallica is a rusty nail, right, riiiight? That's gangster talk! That's gangster talk for beef stew! A never was!!! They are a diseased, discombobulated, disgusting, dehydrated DISASTER, riiiight, riiiight??"

Hard to explain the hunger when you don't feel it. Fucking pathetic if ya ask me. I wish they would just retire. This parody of their former selves has gone way too fucking far!

So...30 year anniversary might imply that it came out in 1991....
