I know it might seem impossible to think so at the moment, but there is hope brother. I've been in "similar" situations pre-internet but didn't receive support or the empathy you're deservedly getting from the community right now. I know from such experiences that the final boss that'll cock-block your will to live is a lack of hope, so for the love of God, please find some any way you can.

The little things. Even the tiniest victories produce the same chemical, emotional and ultimately physical reactions in your being as the big ones, and such wins cost nothing other than an open mind.

I returned to the thread to delete the post I made yesterday. In a bad place right now, not knowing whether I'm coming or going so I feel like I shouldn't have offered any advice to Jason, just empathy.

Amazing feeling of relief to learn that I wasn't ridiculed. I guess you guys know me well-enough to know that I'm always coming from a place of caring and empathy; I just want everyone to be happy. I firmly believe that once you've suffered enough, if you find yourself wanting anything less than the best for someone else, you probably need to suffer some more.

Funny, but not-funny. Ironic, but logical. Welcome to my world.

My first financial concern for Jason is rent. It seems to have skyrocketed all over the world. Food shouldn't be to-big of an issue due to the plethora of food programmes out there and churches' giving it away. The latter can often help out with bills too, as did a local one here when my housemate died and left me with a shit-tonne of bills and expenses. They tried their best to give me more money but I only wanted to accept the barest minimum to help take care of the largest bill; it would've been easy to walk out of there with triple what I was asking for. They even tried to get me to take a bunch of food at the end of the meeting, which I also refused, but it was fantastic to be reminded of the fact that there are so many good people out there who genuinely care.

Hang in there Jason. It's obvious from what I've read here that peeps really care about you bro'.

Sucks man, my Dad went through similar in 2022/2023. Hope dude gets better sooner than later and yeah its rough but with help from the community and friends I'm sure he can recover better and sooner than not.


Its honestly the worst..... My Dad needed a spinal surgery too. When he got to the hospital his blood sugar was 800+ and he should have died but he made it through a miracle.
